Q&A
-
Is it true dirty hair is best for color? Not necessarily. Two day hair is usually fine, but excess product build up and oils actually prohibit the color from working as effectively.
-
What is your cancellation policy?Your appointments are very important to me! I hold your appointments just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule, please provide me no less than 24 hour notice. This way, I will be able to accommodate clients on my waiting list. I do understand that unavoidable issues come up and I will do my best to work with you in case of an emergency. If last minute cancels or “no shows” become a habit, you will be charged a cancellation fee. Here is my general breakdown of cancellation fees: - Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved appointment - No Shows will be charged 100% of the service amount - If you are over 10 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule or forego parts of your service. Your appointment time is allotted for you personally and individually. If you are going to be late or need to reschedule, please call as soon as you can.
-
Why do your prices say "starting at"?Every service includes a standard amount of time and product. Based on hair length and density, you may require more time and product.
-
How do I know what to book?I have a service menu with descriptions of each service. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact me! I will always be notified of your booking and will contact you if the appointment or service needs to be adjusted.
-
What is your re-do policy?I always want you to be 100% satisfied with your services. If you are not 100% satisfied I ask that you contact me within 5 days of your appointment so that we may schedule you to have your services adjusted free of charge. Any issues reported longer than 5 days from the original appointment date will not be considered a redo, but will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please note that a re-do is different than not liking something on yourself even though it was delivered as promised and agreed upon.
-
What should I expect for my first appointment?Once you have arrived, I will meet you in our beautiful lobby! We will go back to me suite and talk about your hair goals for 10-15 minutes before we start your service.
-
What should I wear to my appointment? This is better answered by what not to wear! Please no hoop or large earrings, light color clothes, or high necklines. Aside from those, please come however you are most comfortable!
-
How do I find your location?I work out of a studio inside a building with multiple suites. Look for Gather Loft, right next to Tryst Cafe and across from EOS. When you arrive, you are welcome to swing by my studio or text me to let me know you have arrived. Otherwise, I will meet you in the lobby!
